So Solange is all over the news following an incident in a lift. Sadly I've seen a fair few incidents in lifts over the years but I'll spare you the gory details because we have the important matter of clothes to discuss. Angry Solange and subsequent ludicrous levels of press attention and speculation (ahem there's some pretty harrowing stuff happening in Africa) reminded me that she did a pretty nice collab with Puma and William Okpo back in February. I don't want to give that 'news' story any more mileage to be honest and, frankly, I will always be more interested and better educated to talk about shoes than other peoples family rows. Just happens it reminded me of a very nice collection...

Designers and sisters Lizzy and Darlene Okpo (designers and sisters who seem to get along), took a trip to Zambia recently with the 14+ Foundation who build schools. They seem to have continued to be inspired by colour as their Autumn/Winter 2014 collection include some really vivid hues. What these designer excel most at though is proportions and cut. The suit with the elongated jacket with the ankle skimming trousers makes for a fun and almost cartoonish silhouette and the interesting layering of structured items in this collection is bold. It's clear to see why this collection's a firm favourite with Solange and will have you longing to wear something cheerful this autumn. Just don't go beating anyone up in lifts whilst you do it, it'll crinkle the lovely clothes.
