Although the title Coma Cinema (the solo project of Mat Cothran) comes across as a deep-sea dive into middle school screamo memories, his newest track 'Burn A Church' comes through as anything but.

Cothran's voice warbles gently amidst minor distortion, as gleeful key progressions move through the acoustic-staged set. While the subject matter is fairly dour (yes, Satan is referenced), it comes through surprisingly humorously. Perhaps that's the point here, as his new album Baby Prayers, Stoned Alone, Blue Suicide could make someone cringe on title alone.

The new album will be released June 11th as on vinyl/CD on Fork & Spoon Records, with a cassette version coming from Orchid Tapes Records. Stream 'Burn A Church' below.
