It's been a little while since we've heard from Connan Mockasin, but this week he has emerged with no small amount of ambitious projects. He has revealed that his next album is called Jassbusters and comes out through Mexican Summer on October 12th. On top of that he has revealed that he has a 5-part film project called Bostyn ‘n Dobsyn coming out - and of course these two elements are interlinked.

Bostyn ‘n Dobsyn tells the tale of a fictional music teacher, Bostyn, and his student, Dobsyn, while Jassbusters is the concept album that these two fictional characters have made together. While you wrap your head around that, listen to the smooth and seductive lead single 'Con Conn Was Impatient' below, and the video for it is a trailer for the film itself. Beneath that you can get a list of facts about both elements of this multi-faceted project that should pique your interest (if it's not already!).
