Back in September, Copenhagen three-piece Lust For Youth revealed a first taste of the material that would eventually come to make their newest album Compassion, which now has an official release date. Then, the single 'Better Looking Brother', was tabbed as "a cross between '90s rave and early '90s indie all at the same time," building bridges between a welcoming multitude of influences. Those vibrant ideas are readily apparent again on the band's new single 'Stardom', taking aesthetic pieces from post-punk and electronic-addled Brit Pop.

It's a wonderfully exploratory trek for the trio (Hannes Norrvide, Malthe Fischer, and Loke Rahbek), nabbing a whirl-wind of ideas and contorting them into something deftly original and invigorating. As well, it's more strong evidence that Compassion may be one of early 2016's most endearing breakout albums.

Listen to 'Stardom' below and pre-order Compassion today on Bandcamp and iTunes. The album officially arrives March 18th on Sacred Bones.
