Rockstar has released an iOS app called iFruit that allows you to customise your own vehicle outside of the Grand Theft Auto V game. The app allows gamers to remotely access Los Santos Customs, the game's vehicle customisation shop. Some of the custom jobs you can choose range from new paint jobs, wheels, lights, window tints, and even internal upgrades to the engine, brakes, and suspension.

All of your modifications will carry over to the official game on PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 the next time you visit your garage. One of the most amazing features is that you can make customisations while playing, and you'll get an in-game call from a mechanic when those changes are ready.

The app also lets you train Chop, the Rottweiler that accompanies you throughout the main game campaign. You can train and feed Chop, with a "happiness" meter that helps you gauge your progress with your trusty mutt. Yet again, like the car mods, Chop's happiness in the iFruit app will directly correlate with how he behaves in the main game.

Rockstar has also confirmed the app will be available via Android, Windows Phone, PlayStation Mobile, and PlayStation Vita in the near future.
