Recently signed to 4AD, Oliver Hugh Perry is a name you might not remember, but his moniker D.D. Dumbo is one you're unlikely to forget. After a few listens you quickly realise that this man is swimming in a pool of talent with a little something extra; something special.

Quickly establishing a following in his home country Australia, Perry supported St. Vincent on her tour there earlier this year. He's just announced his first stint in the UK and will be performing alongside Tame Impala and Daughter in July. In reality, as a support slot his diverse euphoric sound means his options are endless. Moulding various genres, he single handedly produces these fuzzy yet folky-blues. Amongst all the drifting melodies and beautiful vocals is an ever-present edge of drone. It's a consistent contrast that will have you asking for more.
