BBC Worldwide Productions France are working in conjunction with the French TV channel Canal+ to produce a documentary about Daft Punk. The documentary is directed by Hervé Martin Delpierre, who also co-wrote it with Marina Rozenman.

Scheduled to air sometime in 2015, the hour-long documentary will follow the course of the band's career from their formation in 1993 to the success of last year's Random Access Memories.

Jean-Louis Blot, the head of BBC Worldwide Productions France who is also producing the documentary alongside Patrice Gellé, said: "We are proud to announce our first commission with Canal Plus Group on such an original and creative film. BBC Worldwide France stands as a major French producer of documentaries with stunning production values and universal appeal."
