The Red Bull Music Academy has been pretty busy lately. They just released their first feature film What Difference Does It Make? and now they've revealed more details of the RBMA Festival. It takes place in May all throughout New York City, where they host a series of performances and talks by influential musicians. Previously announced musicians that will be taking part are D'Angelo, Hudson Mohawke, Autre Ne Veut, Panda Bear, David Byrne, The Haxan Cloak, Just Blaze,

On 9 May, Just Blaze will DJ "The Four Corners of the Clash" alongside Trouble & Bass, Que Bajo, and Federation Sound's Max Glazer and Kenny Meez. Author and critic Nelson George will hold a conversation with D'Angelo at the Brooklyn Museum on 21 May. Caroline Polachek of Chairlift will be DJing at the Brooklyn Flea Record Fair on 10 May with Autre Ne Veut, Optimo, and many others, Dâm-Funk and Torn Hawk will be performing at Panda Bear's 18 May show at Brooklyn's Warsaw, and Nguzunguzu has been added to the lineup to the closing party at the Abrons Art Center.
