Damon Albarn recently spoke to the NME about delays to a much-anticipated new album by Blur. He blamed the weather conditions in Hong Kong, saying "there was too much commuting between where we were staying and where we were recording and it was a bit too hot." On the other hand, Albarn confirmed that 15 new songs had actually been recorded, but that they lacked a lyrical contribution from the frontman himself.

In other Albarn news, the frontman has released a new track in the shape of 'Sister Rust'. The cut appears in Lucy, the new Scarlett Johansson film, and can be streamed below.

He has also announced that he'll be playing a date at the Royal Albert Hall on 15th November. Tickets for the gig are available from 9am on Friday 1st August.
