With more than six years of touring across the world alongside the likes of Miley Cyrus, M.I.A., The Roots, Amos Lee, Sheryl Crow, Stevie Wonder, and White Prism, Nashville singer Dani Elliott is ready to break for her own following the debut of the glorious EP The Best Part.

Elliott's booming vocals are the focal point of the five-track project, showing easily why so many recognizable artists tabbed her for their respective tours. Producer Matt Wigton and engineer David Little (who's worked with Britney Spears and Akon) oversaw the production of the EP, which was solely written by Elliott.

"For me, my travels are what I'm most proud of because they remind me that I can handle a lot," Elliott says. "It's very mentally and physically draining to do 19-hour travel days on planes and busses around large groups of people all emitting different kinds of energies and then be thrown into a country where you don't speak the native language. You learn to communicate in a whole new way. You immerse yourself in different cultures. You meet people from all walks of life and really begin to understand that there is a sort of universal human experience."
