Daniel Knox makes music for eyebrow-raised chinstroking, sophisticated, vaguely eccentric, but still accessible folk rock anchored by malleable strings and his cavernous vocals - reminiscent of Nick Cave, while his production's orchestral esotericism recalls even someone like Richard Dawson.

His new album, Chasescene, is out December 7th on his own imprint H.P. Johnson Present, and it promises more of the same, signalled by the gothic single 'Cut From The Belly' (video below).
