Update: It seems a new album isn't on its way.

Original Story

Any fan of David Bowie's work is probably familiar with his longtime producer Tony Visconti, who's worked alongside him since 1969, even working on his 2013 album The Next Day.

In a new interview with CNN, Visconti said “There’s gonna be another album, definitely … soon." When the interviewer inquired about any live plans for the future, he added “I don’t think he’s gonna busk in the Tube … on the Underground. As far as a concert is concerned I have no idea," continuing “[Bowie] clearly didn’t promote The Next Day with a concert and whether he does for the next one I don’t know and I couldn’t predict that — it’s up to him. It’s whatever takes his fancy.”

With this news and him teasing some new music back in July, it looks like a pretty good indicator that we'll be hearing new stuff from him soon.
