Just like he did with 'Life On Mars' and 'John I'm Only Dancing', David Bowie is releasing a very special edition of 'Rebel Rebel' to celebrate its 40th anniversary. Taken from 1974's Diamond Dogs', 'Rebel Rebel' is one of the first songs that sees Bowie shifting from his Ziggy 2.0 persona (on which he had relied on for Aladdin Sane) to lead character Halloween Jack.

First released on February 1974 with Hunky Dory's 'Queen Bitch' as B-side, 'Rebel Rebel' will now be reissued as a 7' picture disc featuring the original mix of the song - which hasn't been available on vinyl since the 1980s. The single will be out on March 10th.
