Bowie guitarist and collaborator Earl Slick decided to rain on everyone's parade last week, denying any plans for a David Bowie tour.

Speaking at the Yoko Ono curated Meltdown Festival last week, Slick stated there are "no Bowie live dates this year." This follows on the heels of Tony Visconti, the producer of Bowie's 2013 excellent The Next Day, speaking to NME on the subject. "He's fairly adamant he's never gonna perform live again," Visconti is quoted, continuing further, "…he made a point of saying that all the time."

Regardless of these denials, fans are still whispering about the chances of Bowie making a secret appearance at Glastonbury this weekend, which would be his first time on stage since 2004.
