There is only one David Byrne. With his essays on gun control and Donald Trump, Joan of Arc musical, colour guard event and fervent fascination for things like music recorded on phones, his moves have become quite enigmatic. What is he going to do next?

Well, he plans to put together an art exhibition focused on neuroscience. The Institute Presents: Neurosociety will run from October 28 to May 31 at Pace Gallery in Menlo Park, California in partnership with Mala Gaonkar. It is described as "an immersive theatrical experience" and will present 15 neuroscience labs.

"We won’t be running these experiments like the labs do, but recreating some of their work in more entertaining or theatrical ways," he told the New York Times. "I think the labs will see there’s a way to collect data from this. Instead of a small pool of 50 students, you might get 1,000 people from different demographics."
