San Fran black metal act Deafheaven have debuted the first track from their forthcoming second album, Sunbather. 'Dream House' sounds nothing like its namesake, creating irony from the off. It's gnarly, laden with monstrous riffs and drums which fight to keep up. George Clarke's aggressive, inaudible lyrics add to the intensity.

In keeping with Deafheaven traditions, the track is over nine minutes long, which it short for them considering 'Violet' on Roads to Judah was well over 12 minutes. Just as you think it's all over, as the riff calms and fizzles out just over half way, everything slams back in at its usual rate. Sunbather is out on 11th June via Deathwish, Inc.
