As ‘No Barriers’ begins with soft vocals and lush beats, the track immediately quenches pop thirst. Where a majority of contemporary pop can lack honest emotion, Valley Hush doesn’t hold back from pushing intimacy and dreamy feelings into their art. “Lower me into your mine, watch me come up with diamonds/ ‘Cause you deserve everything and everything in between/ I wonder if you even know it;” the lyrics bestowing endless love builds a passionate atmosphere on ‘No Barriers’. The vocals of Vanicelli are reminiscent of Little Dragon’s Yukimi Nagano- effortless and very complementary with synth soundscapes. Production by Alex Kaye mixed with clear percussion and exhilarating bass is the secret to having such a catchy and natural electro-pop song. It’s the ideal song to hear at a festival with a romantic sunset and a lighthearted spirit. ‘No Barriers’ will leave you starry-eyed over the dreamy, ambient and graceful ballad.

Valley Hush has been working hard after relocating to L.A. from Detroit and ‘No Barriers’ is their first release since that big change. This track is the first cut from an upcoming EP release scheduled for some time in August.
