Last year Devon Welsh released Dream Songs, a beautiful record that assuaged the pain of the dissolution of his previous duo Majical Cloudz. Now on top of that he's already got a second one planned: it's called True Love and comes out on October 11th through his own label You Are Accepted.

He has shared a couplet of new tracks 'War' and 'Faces'. The former twirls atop simplistic arpeggiating and synths, with Welsh's voice as powerful and pointed as ever, singing about forgiveness and his desire to mend bridges with an old acquaintance. 'Faces' is a slow and sombre affair, where Welsh's voice again shines, shifting from baritone to falsetto perfectly in tune with his beseeching lyricism. Check out both below.
