No one knows if he wants to go by Diddy or Puff Daddy, but what we do know is that he is seriously rich. This is his fourth year in a row topping the Forbes Five list of Wealthiest Hip-Hop Artists. He made a staggering $700 million dollars this time around, which is $120 million over what his net worth was last year.

Following him was none other than Dr. Dre, who moved up one spot from last year making $550 million dollars - no doubt due to the success of his Beats by Dr. Dre audio brand, which is valued to be worth around 2 billion (yes, billion) dollars. Of course, third place goes to Jay Z who is worth an estimated $520 million which definitely is not chump change. His reign includes Rocawear, worth $204 million, his $150 million deal with Live Nation, and the Roc Nation empire.

The fourth spot is taken by Bryan 'Birdman' Williams, in part due to his massive lineup on Cash Money (including Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Drake), the YMCMB clothing line, and his deal with GT vodka. His net worth would be over $300 million if he didn't split his earnings with his brother. What a gentleman.

Last but certainly not least, and what probably surprised me the most out of this list is that 50 Cent continues to get rich (and not die trying). He brings in $140 million, still reaping the benefits of his vitaminwater sale from 2007. He also just signed a record deal and is set to release his new record Animal Ambition in June.
