The oceanic fuzzwash of Zola Jesus's highly catchy track 'Go(Blank Sea)', taken from her recent album Taiga (which we quite liked), has been given the Diplo treatment. Ewww, "Diplo treatment" sounds awful, sorry about that.

It is a stuttering footwork reworking of the original, filled with electroshock synth chords and syncopated snare patterns, and – as with any good footwork/juke song – a whole lotta clapping. String synths fly off into the air like laserbeams at some points, thudding kicks taking care of things lower down on the spectrum, as the original vocals echo as powerfully as they did previously. Anxiety meets high-energy dance for some fusion food right here.
