WU LYF are one of the most exciting bands to emerge from the UK music scene in, corr, at least a decade. From their (diminishing) tendency to avoid interviews, to their cult-like image ("World Unite, Lucifer Youth Foundation" being their motto), WU LYF breathe fire into the increasing monotony of modern music. So it's quite fitting that co-creator of Bronze Format and ex-Golden Silvers frontman Gwilym Gold is supporting them at their upcoming Manchester gig.

Also supporting WU LYF is Dirty Beaches, and the gig will take place on Great Bridgewater Street on 17th July as part of the Manchester International Festival. Entry is £13.50. To book tickets, visit www.mif.co.uk or call +44 161 876 2198.
