We were blown away when Dive In hit the scene with the title track to their forthcoming debut EP Eighteen last month with its anthemic synth-pop sound, and now it looks like they're 2 for 2 with the release of EP cut 'Can't Hold Me Down'. The Glastonbury residents found inspiration in bands like The Police and Genesis for most of the Eighteen tunes, but in a press release stated that 'Can't Hold Me Down' is a diversion from that path:

"Can't Hold Me Down was probably the first of our songs to take influence from pools of music outside of the "band" world. We wanted to write something that had a more classic song type feel - as opposed to your straight up rock out vibe".

The Eighteen EP is out next week on Vagrant Records, and you can catch them performing at The Line of Best Fit's showcase at The Lexington in london on 5 August!
