A first generation Iranian American, Pedi Hashemian grew up in Knoxville. While that may speak to musical roots, it wasn't until he made way to New York City, that Hashemian found the inspiration needed to fashion himself into DJ ST THOMAS.

A bassist, guitarist, and pianist, among other things, THOMAS is finally dropping his debut EP today, MATRINOMY, which The 405 is pleased to host. Check it out below!

Speaking on the EP at large, THOMAS shares, "MATRIMONY explores the concept of permanence in a transitory world. While writing the EP, I was navigating different relationships with friends, family, partners, and even music. I questioned my passion for and allegiance to these relationships. I realized that relationships aren’t permanent—but they’re a choice you make everyday."
