Despite departing from his beloved stint on NBC/Yahoo's cult TV favorite Community, rapper/actor/comedian Donald Glover hasn't fully ditched acting for his work as Childish Gambino. Along with spots in this year's films Magic Mike XXL and The Martian, Glover has successful pitched his newest TV project Atlanta, which will air on FX sometime in 2016.

The network has ordered 10 episodes of the series, which will star Glover, who also writes and co-executive produces the project. Atlanta, which is already in production, will be a comedy focusing on Atlanta's always interesting rap scene, which means a lot of cameos are sure to be coming along the way.

Exact details of air time have not yet been released, so stay tuned for more details.
