In January, the insanely popular headphone company Beats Electronics will be moving into the world of streaming music with a new site titled Beats Music. Ian Rogers, its CEO, wrote in a blog post that it's already in the "private Alpha-turned-Beta" stage and is about ready to be launched.

If you'd like to be the first to join the party, you can sign up for usernames over at their website now. They're hoping to provide an alternative to Spotify who they believe relies "too heavily on algorithms." Jimmy Iovine has promised that Beats Music will "marry music with emotion," and Trent Reznor will be helping out with the site as well.
