Update 2: It's also worth noting that on two tracks, 'Darkside/Gone' and 'Deep Water', Kendrick Lamar appears to open fire on Drake ("Motherfucker know I started from the bottom").

Update: The album is streaming in full over at Apple Music.

Just a day before the righteously hyped release of Compton: A Soundtrack by Dr. Dre, the OST for the upcoming N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton, Dr. Dre spoke with Zane Lowe's Beats 1 Radio show on the effort. Along with talking about the process for completing the work and squashing the Detox rumors, the rap mogul told the host that royalty proceeds would go towards building a performing arts center in his hometown of Compton.

Dre also noted that the majority of the soundtrack, which features fellow N.W.A. alum Ice Cube (who originally revealed the release details), Eminem, and Kedrick Lamar, was mostly written by him and two of his recent signees Justus and King Mez.

The album is set for release tomorrow via Aftermath/Interscope, but fans can listen to the soundtrack tonight, August 6th, exclusively on Apple Music starting at 9 p.m. EST until midnight.
