"It's mega, it's Dr. Dre, it's what everybody's been waiting for," Ice Cube explained on Philadelphia's radio station Power 99. "It's definitely a dope record, and he's dropping it all on the same day."

That record (not Detox, sorry) is the totally original soundtrack for the upcoming N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton, coming out August 14th. Director F. Gary Gray confirmed that heavy-hitters Eminem and Kendrick Lamar will also be featured on the record, along with the aforementioned N.W.A. member Ice Cube, among others.

The news follows rumors of a possible N.W.A. reunion tour with Eminem filling in the late Eazy-E. No side has confirmed the rumors, but Ice Cube did hint that it's not out of the realm of possibility.

"We've definitely been talking about it," he says in the interview "It's just really about promotors coming to the table and we put together something that works for everybody. It's definitely, definitely possible."
