I just took a trip out to the Joshua Tree National Park in Southern California's Mojave Desert last week, and it's no surprise that Beth Jeans Houghton, or Du Blonde, decided to film her new video for 'Black Flag ' there. It's a picturesque and strange landscape filled with the strangest trees I'd ever seen in my life, and they're on prominent display in the video for you to gawk at as well - that is, if you aren't distracted by her A+ wardrobe and dancing skills. She got some help from her mother Christine behind the camera, and Houghton explained how the video came to be in a press release:

"We filmed the footage in 40 degree heat while we played Beyonce out of the car stereo. A lot of the record is written about situations and people in Los Angeles so it made sense to incorporate the scenery in which a lot of those stories played out."

She's also just announced a brand new UK tour for this June, and the entire list of gigs can be found below the video.
