Happy Friday people! This is the first in what will hopefully be a weekly feature from the Editors of The 405, highlighting our top five picks from the previous seven days. Hopefully it will serve as an insight into what floats our entertainment boats.

First up is The 405's Live Editor, Kris:

It's been a big week for albums streams with The Weeknd, London Grammar, Willis Earl Beal, Janelle Monáe, Summer Camp and of course Arctic Monkeys - so you could be forgiven for neglecting some of the great new music we've featured this week.

My choices include the return of Fuck Buttons plus new tracks from Oneohtrix Point Never and Vault, as well as a beautiful cover of The National from Caitlin Rose.

Finally my big choice is this video for Cassie's new track 'I Know What You Want'. Usually I'd turn my nose up at R&B songs blatantly taking great hip-hop beats and diluting their power (City High and Blu Cantrell immediately spring to mind) but in this instance the beat from Kendrick Lamar's 'm.A.A.d City' is so good it deserves to be presented to a wider audience, and Cassie pays it the respect it deserves.
