After Danish trio Efterklang said that they weren't going to split up last year, they're now announcing an opera called LEAVES – The Colour of Falling.

Taking place "underground in a huge Cold War-era bunker beneath Copenhagen's municipal hospital" (says the press release), where audience members will be led through subterranean corridors that have been closed to the public for years, LEAVES is an ambitious eleven-track operatic work. Efterklang themselves will be joined by eight classically trained musicians, including five vocalists.

The gala performance is on July 26th, with an additional 13 daily shows scheduled up until August 8th. Each performance is limited to just sixty tickets. For more information on the project, head on over here.
