Hailing from the Northeast of Scotland, Emma Miller is a new singer-songwriter whose impressive musical maturity is best showcased by her debut single, 'Burning Out', which we are happy to premiere here today at The 405.

The track -in which Miller worked with both India Bourne (Ben Howard band) and Tim Elsenburg (Sweet Billy Pilgrim) as well as London producers Sam Welch and Solomon Oak- is a warm take on contemporary jazz with a soulful twist and a smoky ambience. Miller describes it as being a "hopeful song" that "represents the first steps of an artist realising her sonic and artistic persona."

You can stream 'Burning Out' below. The track is released on May 19th.
