Scarlett Johansson has returned to music, but this time she isn't alone: the actress has started a brand new band called The Singles, featuring Este Haim, Holly Miranda, Kendra Morris, and Julia Haltigan.

"The idea was to write super-pop dance music written and performed by girls," Johansson says, "I wanted it to be like those bands [The Bangles, The Go-Go's]: ultra-pop but also a little ironic, a little in on the joke."

Their debut track, 'Candy', was produced by TV On The Radio's David Sitek (who also worked with Johansson on her 2008 Tom Waits' cover album Anywhere I Lay My Head) and is available for you to stream below.
