We only know a few things about Kanye West's followup to Yeezus, including that it's supposed to be out sometime in 2014. However, more details are slowly emerging, and a particularly interesting one is that Evian Christ - who you may know from his work on Yeezus - is working on his new album as well. He recently talked to self-titled, where he said "I’ve got to get home and write an Otis Redding–style beat for him," adding "[Kanye] e-mailed last night. He wants something that sounds a bit like Otis Redding, a bit like Mobb Deep."

It seems the two are an artistic match made in heaven, as he said "Kanye is a dream to work with. No one else gives you that level of creative freedom. When he wants you to work to a blueprint, the blueprint is: 'Don’t make a rap beat. Anything but a rap beat.'" However, he has clarified those statements a bit further on his Twitter account, which you can read below.
