Remember the days of musical partnerships/relationships spawning through Myspace? As all-encompassing and crucial to the musical landscape Soundcloud is, you'd imagine it'd be trickier to strike something up - not for Luke Taylor and Sinead Mcmillan, who first got in contact via the sharing site, eventually to become the Cardiff/Bristol duo Face + Heel.

A triptych of EP's from them have been promised this year on Warm Records - an entity famous for their club-nights in London town, and got into the label business earlier this year with Face + Heel's impressive debut EP, No Stars. 'Wounded Melody' is a track featured on their yet-to-be-released second EP Love from the Shadows, and last night the electronic wizards unveiled an edit of it; yes remixing their own cuts. How very meta. On offer here is a dazzling, elegant ambience with a soft, sparse atmosphere as a delicate cut-up vox flows over the track - a similar celestial electronic ethos to RBMA graduate and fellow 405-fav Anenon; all under a Burial paradigm. Get your midnight vibe on.

Face + Heel play The Nest on September 14th and Concorde 2 on November 17th.
