It's been nineteen years since Notorious B.I.G was shot and killed and yet, the murder of one of hip-hop's greatest artists is a case that remains closed and unsolved nearly two decades later. During a recent interview with Huff Post Live however, Biggie's former wife Faith Evans, emphasized her hopes that the investigation would be reopened as she believes the LAPD knows exactly who's responsible for BIG's untimely death. "We know he was murdered, but we believe that the LAPD knows who's responsible," she said. "That's what we believe."

Taking the blame off of the central long-standing theory that the East Coast vs. West Coast beef led to Biggie and Tupac's murders, Faith went on to explain that the LAPD, together with the FBI, worked on the rapper's case and she believes they have continued to withhold information regarding Biggie's killer. "It's a little deeper than that. I think all the things that came with it definitely added to the hype of things. The whole media element, and people being able to say what they think and not be accurate," she continued.

With most questions surrounding the murder still left unanswered two decades later, Faith and many Notorious fans hope that case will be reopened, granting the closure they're looking for. "The only way you can look at it is tragic. Tragic and senseless," she said. Watch the full interview below.
