Faris Badwan and Rachel Zeffira have revealed they'll be soundtracking Peter Strickland's upcoming movie The Duke of Burgundy via their orchestral side-project, Cat's Eyes.

Badwan describes their sound as "twisted", resulting in "an atmosphere when you're not really sure what a sound is sometimes," pointing out that "the film is about a world without men, so I wasn't allowed to do any singing."

The score was recorded at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios, and is expected to drop later this year. Until then, it might be worth checking out The Horrors' fourth studio album, Luminous, if you're in need of an immediate Badwan fix.
