Avant-electronica label FatCat are to issue the twenty-third, and penultimate, in their series of Split 12-inch releases on October 27th. The 405 has heard it, and can confirm that fans of the series should prepare to set their expectations sky-high.

The album-length release features Brooklyn-born, LA-based sound artist Katie Gately's astounding, 15 minute vocal and experimental electronic composition 'Pivot', backed by four tracks from Tlaotlon, the maximalist alter-ego of New Zealand's Jeremy Coughbrough. We've come to expect joyous and challenging sounds from the series, and this edition is no different.

As is usual with FatCat's Split Series, each release is restricted to 500 copies and is hand-drilled and numbered.
