FEWS is a cross-continental quartet comprising an American, a Brit and two Swedes who released their debut album in 2016. Since then they've taken some time to set the music aside for a while, before regrouping in Mälmo to start the new chapter of FEWS' progress. The first artefact to emerge from this is a single called 'Business Man'.

“Business Man is about people who realise they need to shape up, get a haircut and a suit and work their asses off trying to please the boss. After a few years burnout and the realization that the system is completely screwed sees them lose their shit during weekends before returning to the conveyor belt of conformity, trudging through the same bullshit week after week…” they explain.

That barely-concealed contempt in the quote above comes out in full-force through their razor-edged guitars and muscular rhythm section that emboldens 'Business Man'. Through a careening, piano-imbued verse we're served a nihilistic monologue which soon explodes into a resounding declaration of independence in the chorus. Check out 'Business Man' below.
