Back in August post-punk quartet FEWS re-emerged after a little while in the wilderness with a fiery new song called 'Business Man'. Today they've followed it up with news of their second album Into Red, which arrives on March 1st. They're launching the news with the white hot new single 'Paradiso'.

FEWS co-founder David describes the new album as sounding "like a lorry going 300 kph on ice almost losing control.” We can certainly hear that hazardous and physical sound on 'Paradiso', which is a swirling mesh of stormy post-punk, blasted into the atmosphere with pounding drums and beginning with the line "you were in outer space/ you didn't have your shoes to wear," which echoes off into the vacuum. From there, FEWS take us on a twisting and electrified guitar thrill-ride, their instruments sounding explosive and determined as they rocket forwards in a sheer burst of frenetic energy. Take a listen to 'Paradiso' below.

FEWS new album Into Red comes out March 1st on PIAS and can be pre-ordered here. Catch their renowned live act at one of these dates (tickets on sale Friday):
