Following the introduction to her AVANTgarden concept a month ago through its first issue ROOTS. SHOCK. BEAUTY., FKA twigs has now unveiled the most recent instalment of her digizine: built and distributed via Instagram, AVANTgarden #2 Dream Warrior sees her once again teaming up with visual artists and photographers to showcase visual references and trends in an original way.

For Dream Warrior, FKA twigs joined forces with photographer David Ozochukwu, stylist Matthew Josephs, and editor Suzannah Pettigrew, creating a portfolio of imagery that is juxtaposed with an original poem from the musician herself. "I've always worn my mother’s silk PJs on stage from my very first tour, but they wore out so I wanted to make some of my own," she says of the collection, which features two shirt and trouser pyjama sets, shorts, tees, badges, and an eye mask. "I'm also obsessed with sets and bold prints and, through my exploration of mysticism, I created symbols that protect and invite otherworldly creatures to assist those who wear the sets in their everyday lives. More than anything I wanted people who wear the PJs out into the world to know they know that they look the bomb, even in sleepwear, cause that's just how they roll."
