As we reported previously, Flying Lotus is to embark on a World Tour - though his London date has been postponed from Brixton Academy (which was set for 4th November) to The Troxy on November 16th.

The ludicrously talented multi-instrumentalist Steven Ellison, had this to say in regards to the change of circumstance:

"The team is strong, so when we do a Brainfeeder all-nighter in London, we ALL need to be in there…if we’re gonna do it, we are gonna do it right."

Fair enough. This tour follows the release of latest LP Until The Quiet Comes, which we scored at an End-of-year-list shoe-in score of 9.5, and marks a departure from previous album Cosmogramma in terms of beholding smoother vibes and with a lighter density, resulting in a cohesive yet dreamlike package. It certainly bodes well for a live experience, and as always with Fly Lo it will be fascinating to see how the new tracks are interpreted in a live setting.

Tickets are £25 for the show that will feature some special guests, who will be announced soon. Make it an all-nighter for an extra £10 and head to the Soundcrash After Party at Scala, which even includes a transfer coach there, amazing no? Head here for more details of the event.
