'80s influenced guitar work? Check. Absolutely massive chorus? Check number two. Infectious and dazzling melodies? Yep, check. Having just wrapped up tours with MSMR and Bombay Bicycle Club, Flyte are streaming their new single 'Light Me Up' on 17 November via Turned Out Nice / Island Records, and you can stream it below. It was self-produced in their London studio, and the explanation of the track is simply adorable:

"Light Me Up is about someone wrenching you out of a depressive state, it's about first love. When you're in a period of feeling low you feel like a tree that that's covered in vines, stopping the air and the light from getting to you. It stops you writing or being creative and nothing moves you to get up and go anywhere or experience anything. Falling in love makes all of that go away, you can see colours properly again and hear songs in your head and write them down. It's about shade into light, black and white into technicolor.”
