Now that we're reaching the end of another year that seemingly flew by, it's time for those end of the year lists to rear their beautiful heads. Today Forbes has issued their list of the highest earning musicians of 2013, with Madonna taking the top spot. The results are based on “concert ticket sales, royalties for recorded music and publishing, merchandise sales, endorsement deals” in addition to "other business ventures."

Even though her new record ARTPOP was a flop, Lady Gaga managed to snag the second spot raking in $80 million. Bon Jovi, Toby Keith, and Coldplay round out the top 5. It's interesting to note that the one man machine that is Jay Z earns as much as those five British boys in One Direction put together. Take a look at the full list below.
