Forbes' annual list of hip hop's highest paid moguls was released earlier today, with Diddy taking the top honors.

The 43-year-old pulled over $50 million over the last year thanks in part to his partnerships with the Sean John clothing line, his Bad Boy Records label, his Blue Flame agency, and most importantly his deal with Ciroc Vodka. While he isn't quite the figure he was in the late '90s and early '00s, Diddy's expansive résumé helped keep him ahead of perhaps more likely figures Jay Z and Dr. Dre.

Jay Z ranked second on the list, available to read here, with roughly $43 million taken in. Dr. Dre, who rejuvenated his career in recent years as a producer and creator of the wildly successful Beats By Dre electronics line, came in third with $40 million.

Nick Minaj was the highest ranking female on the list, taking in roughly $29 million from record sales, massive tours, and a lucrative deal with American Idol.

Perhaps the most surprising name on the Top 20 list was underground figurehead Tech N9ne, who runs his own touring and merchandise companies, as well as the Strange Music imprint.
