In honour of its ten year anniversary, Domino reissued Four Tet's third and seminal album Rounds this week. With this, Four Tet, aka Kieran Hebden, posted the original version of 'Unspoken', the nine-minute track smack in the center of Rounds, and the first song he completed recording. This version features samples of the piano melody from Tori Amos' 'Winter', a beautiful track in its own right from her debut Little Earthquakes. However, Hebden was forced to rework the track when he couldn't get the sample cleared. The album version of Unspoken is stellar, of course, but it's thrilling to hear Hebden's original vision for the song. You can take a listen to it now, below.

Domino released the tenth anniversary of Rounds this week and I thoroughly recommend picking it up.
