In their latest batch of blu-ray releases, the famed Criterion collection surprises by announcing amongst Chaplin's City Lights, Ozu's Tokyo Story, and a massive boxset of Zatoichi: The Blind Swordsman, will be a dual releasing of Noah Baumbach's crowd and critic pleasing, Frances Ha.

Though initially surprising, this release makes a lot of sense considering Baumbach's lengthy relationship with the company through various Wes Anderson films and his own Kicking And Screaming, let alone the fact that Frances Ha is a gorgeously shot, French New Wave-aping wonder of a film combined with the Criterion's relationship with the film's distributor, IFC Films. All of these films will be release for their November slate.
