One of the hottest topics the last week in the music world was a profile from The Guardian of Lana Del Rey, in which she says that she saw an early death as glamorous. In the interview, she said "I wish I was dead already," followed by a morbid "I do! I don't want to have to keep doing this. But I am" when the interviewer rightly expressed concern.

Rey turned to Twitter to dispute the quote, saying that the interviewer had "sinister" intentions and was "masked as a fan." The author, Tim Jonze, later posted the audio of the interview and she deleted her tweets. Yesterday, the daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, Francis Bean Cobain also took to Twitter to express her feelings on the interview.
