Frankie & The Heartstrings will headline the 100 Club in London on June 3rd, their first gig in London since February’s NME Awards show with Girls. Their second 7" (vinyl only) single is released on 26th April on their own label PopSex Ltd. 'Tender' and 'Want You Back' were recorded in Sunderland by the band's own Pete Gofton and mixed by producer James Ford. The band continue their mini headline UK tour this week. In May they support fellow north-easterners The Futureheads on a string of dates before appearances at the Great Escape, Evolution and Stag & Dagger festivals. Their as-yet-untitled debut album is due for release late August/early September.
