The Brighton-based electronic mainstays Fujiya & Miyagi are just a few weeks away from releasing their new LP, Flashback, and heading out on tour throughout Europe, Asia and North America. Listeners interested in the record and tour are in for a treat today as the band shares a live video of new single 'Personal Space,' a compelling teaser for the new album.

The video, directed by Julian Tardo of 4Eyes.tv, features minimalistic camerawork that complements the live performance's understated groove. The lyrics are typically eclectic, but they play perfect off the group's air-tight instrumentation. Not a piece is out of place, as everything from the propulsive percussion to the lush synths plays perfectly off one another.

"We thought it would be interesting to capture a live version of the song in a video format," says vocalist/multi-instrumentalist David Best. "It’s the first time we’ve played the song outside a rehearsal room, which gives it a vulnerability and different kind of energy."
