Making films to accompany your new record seems to be all the rage these days, doesn't it? Dirty Projectors are the latest band to jump on this bandwagon, unveiling the trailer for their surreal-looking film Hi Custodian on Pitchfork.

The film was filmed during five days that the band spent in various locations around Southern California, with direction coming from David Longstreth and executive production being handled by Pitchfork.tv on YouTube.

You'll be able to hear all sorts of Dirty Projectors material in the film, ranging from new cuts and alternative versions of songs including 'Offspring Are Blank', 'About to Die' and the recently revealed 'Gun Has No Trigger'.

Take a peep at the trailer below, and look out for the groups latest record Swing Lo Magellan when it hits our shores 9th July through Domino.
